Outstanding faculty, staff get merits for exemplary performance

Two hundred twenty five (225) faculty and staff of the Nueva Vizcaya State University Bayombong and Bambang Campus were given outstanding merit during the ‘Pammadayaw kadagiti Empleyado,’an annual recognition program for employees, in the recently concluded 13th Charter Anniversary celebration on March 20, 2017.

The awarding ceremony served as an avenue in dating back distinctive accomplishments made within the year in different areas of specialization and expertise.


FACULTY, STAFF WITH EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE

The Outstanding Faculty was awarded to Jenifer Raymond Tallungan (Bambang) and Bonimar Tominez (Bayombong), as Fitzgerald Fabelico (Bambang) and Gayon Sarmiento (Bayombong) received the Outstanding Researcher award.

Marilou Laurean (Bambang) was named Outstanding Extension Worker, while Outstanding Project-in-charge and Outstanding Employee were granted to Rudy Gublidan and Julita Balancio (Bayombong) respectively.

The Maaga, Maagap, at Masipag Award was handed to Eric Mitra and Diosdado Partido of Bambang, while Julita Tunac, Gaspar Baysa and Joselito Ojano were the recipients from Bayombong.

On the other hand, Geraldine Ebreo, Jimmy Carter Nilo, and Alma Valdez were given the Cost Economy Measure awards.

The Outstanding Achievement Awardee from Bambang campus was given to Lovella Velasco, with her Best Dissertation acknowledged by the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino during the Gawad Julian Cruz Balmaseda 2017.

NVSU Bayombong Outstanding Achievement awardees were Jestony Baylon and Emmanuel Jose after winning the Best Documentary Film, Best Editing, Best Research and Analysis, and Best Direction in the Dungngo: A Documentary Film on Adoption headed by Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 2.

NVSU former Board of Regents Maximo Aliaga, Federated Faculty Association President, and Teoticia Taguibao, CHED Regional Director 02, were also recognized.

Meanwhile, the NVSU ROTC unit was hailed the Best Organizational Unit.


OTHER AWARDS

Other faculty members were also given appreciation with their excellent performances on their respective fields.

The Outstanding Coach in Academic, Culture and Arts, and Sports were accorded to 33 personnel. Thirty two (32) faculties who exhibited their research outputs in the International scene were also recognized.

There were 14 awardees for the Outstanding Achievement as Inventors, while seven (7) awardees for the Outstanding Authors of published books.

Nineteen (19) faculty members were recognized with their published articles/researches in referred journal, and served as peer reviewers.

For the career self-development incentive, Jean Orcales was the only recipient, while the Service Loyalty Award was also given to 68 employees who stayed true and committed to the University.

Furthermore, 30 personnel were identified having outstanding accomplishments in Research, Development and Extension.

University President, Dr. Andres Taguiam led the awarding ceremony assisted by Dr. Loreta Vivian Galima, officer-in-charge Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Wilfredo Dumale, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Business for Development, Dr. Geraldine Ebreo, Vice President for Adminsitration and Finance, and Dr. Araceli Domagas, Campus Administator Bambang Campus.#
