3 Sep 2021

September 3, 2021. After a few weeks of preparation and many restless hours collecting all of the documentation required to meet the benchmark statements' criteria, the College of Teacher Education (CTE) received encouraging impressions from the highly regarded Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges & Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) team leaders of the six graduate programs.

The exit conference and the closing program began with an opening remark by Dr. Wilfred A. Dumale, Vice President for Research, Extension and Training (RET), followed with the overall impressions from Dr. Fe S. Soriano, Overall Coordinator of the AACCUP Team. Hon. Ruth R. Padilla, OIC of the Office of the President, gave an inspirational message and later declared her Pledge of Commitment.

The awarding of the certificate of recognition to the accreditors was joined by the key officials of the university. Dr. Cristina R. Salvosa, Campus Coordinator, ended the program with the closing remarks. The results, together with the numerical rating of the 6 evaluated graduate programs, will be submitted to the AACUP for final deliberation during their Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting, then the result will be forwarded to the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies, Inc. (NNQAA) for certification and approval. After a month or two, the results will be forwarded to the university and to the concerned colleges.

As a sort of post evaluation, Dr. Jocelyn P. Cabrera announced that the OIC Dean and the faculty members will meet on September 6 to discuss what needs to be and not to be done in the next preparation. The University MIS (Management Information Systems) technical staff hosted the zoom meeting of the virtual accreditation exit conference and closing program while Dr. William D. Magday, Director, ETEAP, served as the master of ceremonies of the program.#ABC&MAR
