NVSU registers higher passing rate in 2018 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer Licensure Exam

The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) beats yet another record by obtaining a 55.77% passing rate in the August 2018 licensure examinations, having 29 NVSU graduates making the cut out of 52 examinees.The national passing rate went up to 56.66% or 851 out of 1,502 takers, compared with last year’s 48.31% or 630 out of 1,304 examinees.The decline from last year’s repeaters’ passing rate of 22.22% to 14.29% hindered the university from overcoming the overall national passing rate. Now in its 15th year, the University in-house Review was successfully conducted on September 27-28, 2018 at the Mini Theater, NVSU, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.As an annual activity, the In-House Review is conducted to serve as a venue wherein significant results and accomplishments of on-going researches and technologies generated from completed ones are presented and reviewed for proper recognition to avoid the costly and unnecessary duplications of researches are greatly avoided.The in-house review proper is divided into five categories. NVSU Bayombong welcomes 6,452 students

The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bayombong Campus welcomed more than 6,452 students for Academic Year 2018-2019 during the flag raising ceremony on August 13.As of September 10, records from the Office of the Registrar showed there were more or less 6,173 college enrollees including the graduate school and 279 senior high school students.Holding the most number of first year students for this academic year is the College of Arts and Sciences which admitted 389 freshmen. NVSU Alumnus places 2nd in licensure exam

The Nueva Vizcaya State University’s College of Forestry (NVSU-CF) alumni garnered 2nd spot in the Forester Licensure Exam (FLE) held last September 11-12, 2018.Forester Gerlyn Barte Orpiano obtained an astonishing score of 91.70-percent landing her on the second spot while the university’s overall passing rate has reached 65.93 percent with only 60 examinees out of 91 able to hurdle the FLE.The national passing rate went up to 59.01-percent or 1,048 passers out of 1,776 examinees compared to last year’s 48.65 percent or 721 passers out of 1,482 examinees.As a Center of Excellence in Bachelor of Science in Forestry Education, NVSU’s College of Forestry has been consistent in fostering high passing rate in the FLE and producing licensed professionals and topno...
