NVSU shines in eng’g board exams

A graduate from Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bambang Campus topped the August 2018 board exams for mechanical engineers, while the university gained a 100-percent rating for first time takers in the September 2018 Electrical Engineer (REE) board exams.In the official result released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Engr. Ranier Jude Wendell Ruiz Lorenzo led the new batch of NVSU mechanical engineers, obtaining a score of 91.50% which placed him fifth during the August 2018 mechanical engineering board exams.When asked what his last piece of advice is for aspiring passers, he answered, “Diligence is a must in studying. The Nueva Vizcaya State University Senior High School Radio Broadcasters – Filipino Team were declared as champion in the recently concluded Nueva Vizcaya Division Schools Press Conference on September 28, 2018 at Sta. NVSU increases overall rating in 2018 Veterinarian Licensure Exam

The Nueva Vizcaya State University has recently obtained an increase overall passing rate of 40.00% in the Veterinarian Licensure Exam (VLE), having 12 passers among 30 examinees, while the national passing rate is 47.89%. Records obtained came from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).Not only overcoming its past record of 16.67% in the overall passing rate, NVSU also beat its record for first time passers by acquiring a whopping 66.67% rating compared to last year’s rating which was 23.57%. Velasco among PIA's top ten women achievers in Region II

The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) 02 named Dr. Lovella Gamponia-Velasco, faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences in NVSU Bambang, as one of its top ten women achievers of 2018 during the 7th IDDU Honor Roles Award for Women on July 11, 2018 at Hotel Carmelita, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. According to PIA, Velasco was recognized for her passion in promoting local literature and vernacular writings in Nueva Vizcaya. NVSU fires up supremacy, places 4th at the 2018 ASCU-SN Olympics

The Nueva Vizcaya State university (NVSU) placed 4th out of 23 State Colleges and Universities during the recently concluded 2018 Association of State Colleges and Universities – Solid North (ASCU-SN) Olympics held at the Benguet State University at La Trinidad, Benguet last June 18-21.Eighty-seven faculty members and staff from Bayombong campus and 50 from Bambang campus represented NVSU in the said event.The NVSU delegation brought home six gold medals, six silver medals, and seven bronze.NVSU stood alongside Bulacan State Univeristy in 5th, Mountain Province State Polytechnical College in 3rd, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial University in 2nd place, and Benguet State University who emerged as the overall champion.The ASCU-SN Olympics is an annual sports...
