NVSU launches Online Pre-Admission System

In its effort to revolutionize and make its admission process more convenient and accessible, the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Testing Center in partnership with the Departments of Computer Science and Information Technology, launched an online pre-admission system.The introduction of the system, dubbed as the "Online Pre Application for College Admission Test" or OPCAT, will help address challenges that aspiring NVSU students face during the pre-application process. NVSU Bayombong holds 14th Commencement Exercises Lauds 1,090 graduates

The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bayombong Campus honored 1,090 graduating students during its 14th Commencement Exercises at the NVSU Bayombong Gymnatorium on June 14, 2018. This year's graduation theme "NVSU Strengthens Global Commitment" manifests the university's determination to produce globally competitive graduates.The 1,090 graduates comprised of 948 bachelor degree holders, 26 in the Masters degree program, and five (5) finished their Doctoral Degree. Completing the roster of graduates were 56 certificate holders, 14 diplomas, and 41 associates. The College of Teacher Education (CTEd) produced the most number of graduates with 255 graduating students, which made up 24 percent of the total number of graduates this year. The graduate...

The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) made a leap towards the realization of its vision and mission after its General Administration and Support Services (GASS) was granted the coveted ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification on June 6, 2018 at the University Mini-Theater. In his welcome message, University President Dr. Andres Z. Taguiam congratulated the different GASS Unit Directors and Staff for their dedication and commitment during the preparation for the ISO audit. Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Honorable Fortunato T. Dela Peña once again visited Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) on May 31, 2018.According to Dela Peña, it is not his first time to visit the university but then NVSU never failed to make him feel the warmness of welcome.A program was held at the Mini Theater to honor Dela Peñas' visit along with his party – composed of DOST Region 02 Director Sancho A. NVSU is host to 1,064 newly elected SK leaders

As part of its commitment to the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) agreed to conduct and facilitate the Sangguniang Kabataan Mandatory Training (SKMT) classes for newly-elected SK officials of 133 barangays of Nueva Vizcaya, in several batches.SK officials from Dupax del Norte attended the training on May 21, Kayapa on May 22, Aritao on May 23, Bagabag on May 24, Dupax del Sur on May 25, and Kasibu on May 26. The batches of trainings were mostly held at the University Mini-Theater and at the Dumlao Farmers Training Center on the last day.
