NVSU LabSchool holds second junior high completion rites

The Nueva Vizcaya State University Laboratory School under the College of Teacher Education held the second moving up ceremony for its Grade 10 students on April 6, 2017 at the NVSU Gymnasium. 

Dr. Regino Galate, NVSU Lab School principal, presented the 54 candidates for Junior High School completion to University President Dr. Andres Taguiam, who confirmed the moving up completion of the Grade 10 students. 

Executive Secretary of the Mayor’s Office Bayombong Engr. Andres De Guzman served as the guest speaker during the event. 

Joyce Cubalit, who finished with high honors, led the 2017 completers. Along Cubalit who received the Academic Excellence awards were Janeen Joy Time, Simon Wendell La Corda, Cristian Angelo Dacmay, Bozz Vince Reyes, Alyzza Isabelle Morales, Jonelle Narciso, Janine Khasmire Manabat and Janelie Claire Calderon.  

Students with outstanding performance in various fields were also given recognition. 

Cubalit clinched the outstanding performance in Mathematics. La Corda, on the other hand, was awarded the outstanding performance in Communication Arts both in English and Filipino, and in the field of Science, while Time bested in the field of Social Science. 

The awardees for the Technical-Livelihood Education were Alphanee Kate Jose for Agriculture, Cubalit for Home Economics, and Dacmay for Drafting.

Reynalene Apostol, Cubalit, La Corda, and Time were awarded Journalists of the Year, while Dacmay and Reyes received the Conduct Award.

Furthermore, the Manny Villar Exellence Award was given to Cubalit. 

The moving-up ceremony was conducted after the changes made by the implementation of the K-12 Program.#
