NVSU conducts Forum-Orientation on Free Tuition Program

With the approved Senate Bill No. 1304, also known as the Free Higher Education for All Act, that mandates making education a top budgetary priority by providing free higher for students in State University and Colleges (SUCs), the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU), as one of the implementing SUCs, conducted a forum-orientation to discuss matters on the free tuition policy. 

The forum-orientation was held to open discussion among the NVSU administration, students, and parents regarding the requirements, qualifications, and other concerns that relate the free tuition program.

Scholarship Coordinator Bayombong Campus Prof. Joan A. Piñon presented the rationale of the free tuition program. Along Piñon were Dr. Jesusa L. Naui, Scholarship Coordinator - Bambang Campus, and Prof. Ma. Theresa Fulgencio, Bayombong Campus Student Affairs and Services Director, represented the NVSU administration in answering the queries raised by the beneficiaries during the open forum.

Over 800 participants comprising students, parents, barangay officials, and other concerned attended the forum-orientation on July 17, 2017 at the NVSU Gymnasium.
