Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) strengthens global commitments through the improvement of its facilities. Three newly constructed buildings were inaugurated thru a ribbon cutting ceremony last March 20, 2018.
The inauguration was led by Dr. Andres Z. Taguiam, University President, stating in his speech that the establishment of the food court, new administration building, and academic building are for the benefit of the stakeholders, especially the students.
Each building has a definite purpose which will benefit the entire NVSU Community.
According to Joaquin B. Cera, Director of Auxiliary Services, the renovation of the food court will cater better food services and provide better dining ambiance for the students and faculty and staff of the university.
On the other hand, the new administration building will serve as a new home for administrative employees.
"The General Administration and Support Service employees and administration personnel are expected to transfer on the new administration building on May 2018," said Dr. Araceli V. Domagas, Vice President for Administration and Finance.
Further, students will now have a more conducive learning space through the newly built academic building located near the College of Business and Economics (CBE).
The buildings were successfully built through the help of various government funds; an allocation of P1, 492, 683.71 was appropriated for the food court through trust fund 184 or from the collections of auxiliary services. Further, a budget of P4, 274, 923.28 was apportioned to the administration building through the PDAF and Fund 164 or the special trust fund.
