The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bayombong Campus has marked another milestone when it celebrated its first commencement exercises for its senior high school graduates on June 7, 2018 at the NVSU Bayombong Gymnatorium.
NVSU honored the academic achievements and track completion of the inaugural batch of the university’s Senior High School (SHS) program, following the K-to-12 educational reform.
A total of 270 graduates from the Accountancy and Business Management (ABM), General Academic (GAS), Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and Technical, Vocational, and Livelihood (TVL) strands gathered at the gymnatorium, with their parents and the university’s academic community.
In his welcome message, University President Dr. Andres Z. Taguiam took the opportunity to thank the parents for trusting NVSU with their children. He also encouraged the graduates to pursue their respective college degree in the University. He also reminded the graduates to “never stop learning, be positive, and always be inspired.”
Aside from President Taguiam, other top management officials who graced this memorable event were Dr. Loreta Vivian R. Galima, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Liberty G. Torres, Campus Adminitrator, Dr. Sanny J. Dangis, Dean of Teacher Education and Dr. Regino L. Galate, Principal of the Laboratory School.
