White Coat Ceremony Marks Milestone for NVSU-CVM Future Veterinarians

With the theme “Resilience Towards Excellence: Forging Innovative, Compassionate, and Adaptive Future Veterinarians,” the Nueva Vizcaya State University – College of Veterinary Medicine (NVSU-CVM) held its 6th White Coat and Pinning Ceremony on October 25, 2025, at 24/7 Inn, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

Guest speaker Dr. Jendy N. Cambri inspired the young clinicians to embrace resilience, innovation, and compassion in their journey toward becoming veterinary professionals. Her message reflected the theme, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and excellence in veterinary practice as the students prepare to serve both animals and the community with dedication.

This year, 20 fifth-year students donned their white coats, symbolizing their transition from to veterinary clinicians committed to a noble profession. The ceremony was made more meaningful with the presence of the students’ parents and members of the Nueva Vizcaya Veterinary Medical Association, Inc. (NVVMA), who witnessed this significant milestone in their children’s veterinary journey.

Following the coating and pinning ceremony, the students also took the Oath of Commitment, affirming their dedication to the veterinary field. The white coat, a longstanding symbol of the profession, represents not only professional responsibility but also the commitment to be the voice for those who cannot speak.
