The College of Arts and Sciences of Bayombong Campus launches a sports fest with the theme, "Pista ng Casagaan, CASiyahan, at palaCASan tungo sa pagkaCAiSa at de-Kalidad na EduCASyon" on September 12, 2023.

The event commenced with a lively Zumba dance held at the University Gymnasium, where athletes, students, faculty, and staff joined in to set the energetic tone. Following the Zumba, a parade around the university grounds took place, symbolizing the unity of all participants.

The program began with an opening remark delivered by Prof. Everson J. Santos, the Director for Sports and Development. Dr. Lori Shayne A. Busa, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, then officially inaugurated the program, emphasizing the significance of the event.

One of the highlights of the sports Festival was the introduction of the official coaches for the various events. Their expertise and guidance were crucial in ensuring the success of the teams. The festival concluded with a torch-lighting ceremony and pledge of commitment to sportsmanship, led by John Oliver P. Alva and Rustico Jacinto O. Manuel, signifying the spirit of competition and the pursuit of excellence. The teams participating in the festival were divided into four units, namely: Unit 1, representing the Royal Ghost; Unit 2, the Sneaky Goblin; Unit 3, the Rocket Balloon; and Unit 4, the Electro Dragons. This division fostered healthy competition and camaraderie among the participants.

Indeed, the College of Arts and Sciences Sports Festival was not just about sports; it was a celebration of the unique qualities and talents that make the community exceptional.
