NVSU strengthens internal quality assurance through AUN-QA IQA Management Toolkit Workshop
Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) continues to strengthen its internal quality assurance system by participating in the 1st Workshop on University IQA Implementation in the Philippines Utilizing the AUN-QA IQA Management Toolkit Version 1.3, reinforcing the University's commitment to continuous quality improvement and alignment with ASEAN and international standards.
Held from July 14 to 16, 2026, at Marikina Polytechnic College, the three-day workshop gathered higher education institutions across the country to enhance the implementation of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) systems using the AUN-QA IQA Management Toolkit Version 1.3. NVSU's participation was made possible through the support of University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr.
Representing the University were Director Sheryl Caroline B. Fontanilla of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office (QAA), Dean Rhea L. Adriatico of the College of Human Ecology (CHE), Dean Carmelo A. Bisquera of the College of Information Technology Education (CITE), and Dean Jayson Q. Caranza of the College of Forestry, Environment and Resources Management (CFERM).
Organized through the IQAdvance Project in collaboration with the ASEAN University Network (AUN), the ASEAN Quality Assurance Network (AQAN), SEAMEO RIHED, and the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), the workshop focused on strengthening institutional quality assurance systems through the application of the AUN-QA IQA Management Toolkit Version 1.3.
