CHED selects NVSU for 20M grant

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) chose Nueva Vizcaya State University as the recipient of a P20 million grant for the renovation of its Sports Complex on the Bambang Campus.

With this decision, university officials, led by University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Prospero "Popoy" De Vera III, the Chairman of CHED, on January 26, 2024, to express gratitude for the awarded grant.

During the visit, Dr. Dumale expressed his gratitude to CHED for their support and recognition of the university's need for infrastructure development of sports facilities.

The renovation of the Sports Complex is anticipated to significantly enhance the university's athletic programs and contribute to the overall student experience, and community welfare.

Further, NVSU is the selected grantee after a competitive process involving 114 State University and College applicants.
