NVSU Commences Five-Day Accreditation Review for 16 Programs

Today marks the beginning of a significant five-day accreditation review, taking place from November 6th to 10th, 2023, for NVSU's 16 programs. The opening program was held at the Function Room in the new Administration building and was attended by esteemed individuals such as the Executive Committee, Deans, QAA Coordinators, QAA Staff, and members of the working committee. The event was also made accessible to remote participants through Zoom.

The Opening Program featured presentations from University Officials, the Accreditation Task Force by Program, Accreditation Coordinators, and highly esteemed Accreditors. Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., the University President, delivered an impactful message during the program, highlighting the significance of the accreditation process.

The programs scheduled for the First Survey Visit at the Bayombong Campus include the College of Agriculture's BS in Fisheries, the College of Forestry, Environment, and Resources Management's BS in Ecotourism, and the College of Human Ecology's BS in Home Technology. Additionally, the Bambang Campus offers a Doctor of Philosophy in Organization and Development Planning through the College of Arts and Sciences and a Doctor of Education in Educational Management through the College of Teacher Education.

For the Preliminary Survey Visit at the Bayombong Campus, the programs include the College of Arts and Sciences' BS in Biology and BS in Information Systems, the College of Business Education's BS in Business Administration with majors in Human Resource Management and Business Economics, and the College of Teacher Education's Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education, Bachelor of Technical and Livelihood Education, and BS in Physical Education. At the Bambang Campus, the programs include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language, a Bachelor of Technical and Livelihood Education, and a Bachelor of Physical Education.

The College of Industrial Technology at the Bambang Campus is undergoing its 3rd Survey Phase 2 for the BS in Hospitality Management and BS in Computer Science.

Accreditation provides a framework for evaluating and improving programs, holding administrators, officials, and faculty accountable for program outcomes.
